The graveyard. A place of death, and yet at this still moment there was life in it. Shendeth Crowley sat perched on top of a particularly large old tombstone, lost in thought and the peaceful solitude of the surrounding forest. He wasn't here to mourn. Absolutely none of the names on the stones were familiar in fact. But sometimes he just had to get away from the camp for a bit, you know? Sometimes as in whenever possible without fail. He was a loner who needed room to breathe. It all seemed rather pointless really, and he was always sneaking out, though most days he didn't leave the campgrounds.
For Shendeth, the graveyard was the perfect haunt. It was set a ways apart from the camp. Nobody else ever came here and that was a good thing. It was a place to be alone, since even if it hadn't been out of the way most of them wouldn't come often. It was a creepy place. But it was well known that the seventeen-year-old was a creepy kid. His brooding nature, dark clothes and back-length black hair just screamed it. Not to mention that he was the son of the god of death. So in a place of death, instead of scared he rather felt at home. He shifted a little, watching pebbles crumble down from the worn stone. Waiting. For what he didn't know. A call to go back to camp was far off, but something had to happen. So he waited, relaxed, like a spider in its web.

Ren walked into the graveyard. He was here to mourn for a lost friend. His friend had died protecting camp. It was an especially sad ocasion for this was the anniversary of his death. Tears dripped down Rens eyes. Then, he looked up. He saw movement on his gravestone. "Hello?" Ren asked, scared.

At the sound of footsteps, followed by a voice, he looked down. "Hello there." he said in a darkly smooth tone, observing the newcomer. After a second, Shendeth jumped down from atop the gravestone with catlike agility that was very pronounced, even for a demigod. Upon hitting the earth he walked in slow circles around the much younger and smaller boy. "Feeling sentimental, are we?" he hissed, sinister and half threatening. Shendeth gave the kid a malevolent grin, completely unsympathetic to his sorrow. His tears and scared expression along with his age were all weaknesses that he couldn't resist playing on. Boredom worked in wondrous ways.

"Yes and i can see your not" Ren said. He was already getting angry. He just wanted to be here alone. Why is there nowhere to be alone. Especially on such an important day to him. "Can you just leave me alone?" Ren said angrily.

Apparently the kid had never heard the expression 'don't feed the troll'. Shendeth laughed; his was a harsh laugh devoid of all warmth. Yeah, he could be nice if he wanted to. But that was boring. He could see that it didn't take much to get to the kid at the moment. "No, I can't." he shook his head in mock apology. "You see, I was here first." That was a concept basic enough for even this kid to understand. And it actually was the truth of the matter. Shendeth was going nowhere. This was his territory, and if someone else wanted to visit that was fine but it wasn't going to make him leave. Especially if that someone in question was someone he could easily kill.. if he wanted.

"I didn't say you had to leave. Just that you needed to leave me alone" Ren said. Shendeth was being really annoying. Ren took a look around. Then, he spotted the plant he wanted.

Shendeth smirked. "Ah. Well, the answer's still no. But go ahead and carry on." he said, sinister and haughty. There was nothing else to do but watch and be nasty throughout it. He walked around behind him again. Shendeth saw him look around but didn't know what the other boy in the graveyard was looking for. Not that he cared at all.

Ren ran toward the plant and picked it. "If you won't leave me alon i will use this" he said. He ran and picked a different plant, too. He wanted to be really safe.

He watched with narrowed eyes, following and breathing coldly down his neck. "Ooh, it's a plant. I'm so scared." Shendeth hissed mockingly. For sanity's sake the kid must have a power related to plants or he would look completely ridiculous, even more so than he did already. Either way he was unimpressed and never going to move. The fact was he had talents of his own.

"You should be scared. This plant only grows in places of death and relates to death. The other only grows in places of death as well. It can keep you from dieing." Ren said. He just wanted to be alone. He was ready to do anything to get what he wanted. He was glad that the plants couldn't hurt him. He sat down by the gravestone and waited for Shendeth's reaction.

My, that sounded like quite the pathetic defense indeed. Shendeth raised one dark eyebrow, Ren's words having none of their desired effect. "So, you think I should be scared of a plant that helps because..?" It would take a lot more than that. He'd like to never die. It wasn't like Ren could force him to eat it, and theoretically if he did it sounded like a plant that healed even being who he was. That was if the kid wasn't just bluffing and making stuff up to get away, and said something without thinking in his haste to do so, as was much more likely. He stared down at the other boy, darkly bored as ever.

"You should be scared of the plant. It is poisonus. It just doesn't effect me because i've got an immunity." Ren said. He didn't care what Shendeth thought. He knew this plant was dangerous. It wasn't even that hard to tell.
